Hosptals and clinics run by certified plastic surgeons use signboard names in the following format OO Plastic Surgery Clinic Note that the notation order is clear, the font size is unifom, and the letters are properly aligned
However, clinic and hostpitals using signboard names such as the following are not operated by speiclists in plastic surgery. OO Clinic, OO Plastic Surgery (Specialized) Center, and OO Specialist, the Department of Plastic Surgery, (Letters the are not legible). OO Plastic Surgery Clinic (small letters or letters are moved upward or downward)

Do some research about the hospital / clinic in the internet, and check their websites to distinguish plastic surgery specialists from the other specialists or general practitioners.You must be especially careful during this process. Many specialists who are specialized in other medical fields may show the name of their hospital / clinic as OOOO Plastic Surgery Clinic in their websites or advertisements. You can check your doctor’s profile on the web page that provides information on medical teams to see whether he is a plastic surgery specialist or not.
A specialized plastic surgeon’s profile The profile must show that the doctor is a specialist in plastic surgery. If the doctor is described as just a specialist without any further specifications regarding his / her if specialization, it is sage to assume that. He/she is not a specialist in plastic surgery, instead, he/she may be a specialist in other medical filds. Some doctors omit any details about their area of specialization to give an impression that they are specialized in plastic surgery)
The profile must show that the doctor has ompleted a degree in plastic srgery at OOOO University Hopital (or just Hospital), or is a licensed plastic surgeon. The profile must show that the doctor is a regular member of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Korean Society for Aestheric Plastic Surgenry, and The Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons.
Doctors that are members of pseuodomedicine groups or academia that deliberately go by names that resemble hose of official organizations (e.g, the Korean Society of Inverstigative Cosmetology, the Korean Society of Cosmetology, and the international Society of Cometology) are not specialized in plastic surgery. Instead, they are specialists in aesthetic surgery or international aesthetic surgery and are violating the medical law
